Dii's relationship with the DNA is reflected in its futuristic design by award-winning architect Amata Luphaiboon of a renowned design firm, Department of Architecture.

The medical spa is comprised of three elements: the reception, the clinic and the spa. With its sleek glassy façade, the reception displays a sense of spirally perpetual euphoria thanks to the presence of towering turquoise models of the DNA double helix as its centerpiece.

The pearl white reception is upbeat in tone with a sense of spatial infinity, the ceiling stretching endlessly, columns vanishing into the chalky emptiness.

There's a tinge of Thai-ness too. The furnishings and fixtures show off the amazing hand-crafted artistry of Thai nielloware of Bangkok's famed Ban Bu community that dates to the Ayutthaya period.

The extremely sterile clinic oozes transparency. The two clinics are enhanced with a lighting system to ensure your body clock is more tune with the rhythm of your treatment. Green and blue rays keep you incredibly relaxed.

The spa section houses two double and three single treatment rooms, which can be accessed through a corridor. This gateway to another galaxy is embellished with a million of shimmering crystal overhangs resembling a cluster of stars in the night sky.

On both sides of the corridor are mirrored glass panels, behind the veneer of which lurk the two double treatment rooms sporting warm dark tones. The corridor is certain to fill visitors with astronomical excitement.

The designer not only looks skywards for inspiration, but peers into the great depths of our oceans too.
